Expert Verdict

The SONOFF SWV-ZNE Hydro ONE Lite is a functional Zigbee 3.0 water valve featuring a 3/4-inch threaded connection and a physical manual override button. While it integrates well with Zigbee2MQTT for local control, users report inconsistent timing accuracy in automated schedules, making it better suited for hobbyists comfortable with troubleshooting than for "set-and-forget" irrigation systems.

Best For

DIY smart home enthusiasts using Zigbee2MQTT who want a budget-friendly, locally-controlled water valve and are comfortable troubleshooting automation timing.
