Buying guide: Gaming Controllers

Expert Verdict

Featuring drift-resistant Hall Effect joysticks and a 1000Hz polling rate over 2.4GHz wireless, the EasySMX X05 Pro is an outstanding controller for PC, Switch, and mobile gaming. Its silicone-damped buttons make it exceptionally quiet, though long trigger-stop travel makes it less ideal for competitive FPS titles.

Best For

Ideal for PC, Switch, and mobile gamers seeking quiet buttons and high-precision Hall Effect joysticks, but avoid if you require Xbox/PlayStation compatibility or instant hair-triggers for competitive shooters.
