Expert Verdict

The SONOFF SWV-ZFE is a capable Zigbee 3.0 water valve featuring an integrated flow meter and a manufacturer-specific cluster for native irrigation scheduling. While it offers reliable local control via Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA, users should be aware of potential timing inaccuracies in third-party automations and the need for high-quality batteries to ensure successful firmware updates.

Best For

Home automation enthusiasts using Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA who need automated irrigation with flow monitoring and local control.
