The HiBy W4 is a feature-rich portable DAC/amp featuring dual CS43198 DAC chips and a 2-inch color touchscreen, offering a neutral, technically precise sound profile. While it excels in resolution and provides a unique "UnCharge" power isolation mode to protect host battery life, it is hampered by a frustratingly low default volume limit that requires a hidden developer menu to bypass and mediocre battery endurance.
Audiophiles seeking a neutral, high-resolution portable DAC with advanced features like album art display and power isolation; avoid if you prefer plug-and-play simplicity or require long battery life.
