Expert Verdict

The Sonoff SWV-BSP is a capable Zigbee 3.0 irrigation controller featuring integrated water flow monitoring and automatic leakage detection. While it offers excellent integration with platforms like Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant, users should be aware of potential timing inconsistencies in automated schedules and the necessity of fresh batteries for successful firmware updates.

Best For

Home automation enthusiasts using Zigbee2MQTT or Home Assistant who want to automate garden irrigation; avoid if you require high-precision, mission-critical timing without manual monitoring.
