Expert Verdict

The TRN Whale Shark is a technically ambitious hybrid IEM featuring a 3DD+1 planar magnetic driver configuration and a three-way crossover system. It delivers a wide soundstage and detailed, treble-forward performance, though its substantial metal housing and significant physical weight may impact long-term comfort for some users.

Best For

Audiophiles seeking a detailed, treble-forward sound signature who prefer stationary listening sessions and are not sensitive to heavier, larger IEM shells.
