Buying guide: Gaming Controllers

Expert Verdict

The EasySMX S15 is a feature-rich split-pad controller for the Nintendo Switch, distinguished by its Hall Effect joysticks for drift-free performance and 650mAh batteries that exceed standard Joy-Con capacity. While it offers excellent ergonomics for long sessions and useful customization like programmable back buttons, the glossy finish is prone to glare and potential scuffing, and some secondary buttons feel plasticky.

Best For

Ideal for Switch gamers seeking an ergonomic, drift-free alternative to standard Joy-Cons; avoid if you prefer matte finishes or dislike glossy, reflective surfaces.
