Buying guide: Gaming Controllers

Expert Verdict

Featuring Hall Effect joysticks and ultra-quiet sound-dampening silicone face buttons, the EasySMX X05 Pro is a solid gaming controller, highly competitive in the budget tier. It offers excellent drift-free precision and a comfortable rubberized grip, though its shoulder buttons and hair-trigger mode have minor usability flaws.

Best For

Ideal for budget-conscious gamers seeking a quiet, drift-free controller with Hall Effect sensors, but should be avoided by competitive shooter players requiring instant hair-trigger response.
