Expert Verdict

The Shanling M1 Plus is a compact, premium-built digital audio player featuring an ES9069Q DAC and a 4.4mm balanced output capable of 660mW power delivery. While it offers excellent build quality and versatile connectivity, it is limited by a closed MTouch OS that prevents third-party app installation.

Best For

Users seeking a dedicated, high-power portable player for local files who do not require third-party streaming app support.
