The Anbernic RG35XX Pro utilizes a reliable Allwinner H700 chipset and a crisp 3.5-inch 640x480 laminated IPS display, making it a highly capable entry-level device for 8-bit, 16-bit, and PS1 emulation. While it offers a refined, sturdy vertical form factor with dual analog sticks for better 3D game control, users must replace the unreliable stock microSD card and avoid high-wattage fast chargers to prevent hardware damage.
Ideal for retro gaming enthusiasts wanting a compact, vertical handheld for 8/16-bit and PS1 titles; avoid if you have large hands or require high-end performance for PSP/N64.
