Buying guide: Gaming Controllers

Expert Verdict

The NYXI Hyperion 2 features Hall Effect joysticks for drift-free input and mechanical micro-switch buttons that provide tactile, mouse-like feedback. While it offers superior ergonomics for long sessions compared to standard Joy-Cons, it lacks advanced features like HD Rumble and IR support, making it a solid, performance-focused alternative for handheld Switch gaming.

Best For

Best for Switch gamers with larger hands who prioritize ergonomics and drift-free sticks, but avoid if you rely on HD Rumble or IR-based games.
