Expert Verdict

The Moondrop RAYS features a hybrid 10mm dynamic and 6mm annular planar-magnetic driver configuration paired with a USB-C DSP cable for integrated parametric EQ. While the hardware offers impressive positional audio for gaming, widespread reports of cable failure and inconsistent device recognition suggest a significant QA lottery.

Best For

Competitive gamers who prioritize software-based EQ and positional audio, but who are willing to risk potential long-term reliability issues.
