Expert Verdict

The ProtoArc EM01 is a functional, budget-friendly thumb-operated trackball featuring a 20-degree adjustable tilt base and a 900mAh rechargeable battery. While it offers a similar ergonomic form factor to premium alternatives, it lacks dedicated customization software and features a build quality that feels noticeably plasticky.

Best For

Users seeking an ergonomic thumb-trackball on a budget who do not require advanced software-based button remapping.
