“The iBasso Macaron features dual CS43131 DAC chips and 210mW of output power, providing a warm, full-bodied sound profile with 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended outputs. While it offers excellent technical performance for a budget dongle, it lacks Bluetooth and requires the iBasso UAC app for essential gain and filter adjustments, which may frustrate iOS users.”
