The Xiaomi BE5000 features WiFi 7 protocol support and a 2.5G network port, providing competitive signal range and throughput for its class. While it offers robust performance and extensive software settings via the Xiaomi app, users should be aware that firmware modification (like OpenWrt) carries significant risks of bricking the device.
Users seeking an affordable WiFi 7 router with strong signal range; avoid if you are a novice user intending to flash custom firmware.
