Expert Verdict

The SONOFF SWV is a capable Zigbee 3.0 smart water valve featuring dual-power options (4x AA batteries or Type-C) and integrated flow measurement. While it offers flexible scheduling and leak detection, users report inconsistent timing accuracy in third-party automations and potential limitations in flow rate reporting.

Best For

Homeowners seeking a Zigbee-based irrigation controller with flow tracking; avoid if you require high-precision timing for complex, time-sensitive automated watering schedules.
