Expert Verdict

The Xiaomi AX3000T features 160MHz channel width and 3T3R antenna configuration, providing efficient multi-device handling and improved signal reach for a budget-tier Wi-Fi 6 router. While it offers strong technical potential for enthusiasts via OpenWrt support, it is a dual-band system that shares bandwidth between client devices and mesh backhaul, which can limit peak performance in mesh configurations.

Best For

Tech-savvy users looking for an affordable, moddable Wi-Fi 6 router; avoid if you require a dedicated backhaul band for high-performance mesh setups.
